Current empire

Building in the middle of a hill side with lots of small lakes.  Many natural resources around me.  Deforestation is taking a while, but have been capping all caves with rivers so I thinks that works out to a net positive safety amount.  While exploring around my island, I spotted a sheep and some cows in the distance.  Soon I’ll be able to sleep the night away across the hall from my library.  The only things I’m still lacking are pumpkins and clay.

Made pizza

Using this recipe, made dinner tonight.  Next time I need to spread the dough a little thinner and cook at a higher temperature (due to our stove).  The nice thing is there was no rising time, so I was able to make the dough while the oven was heating.

Math is fun

Next mini project will be determining how much I would save by using only pre-tax dollars for medical stuff.

Downstairs window cover

Grab (alice in wonderland?) from Project Gutenberg, balance the text to fill entire window worth of (8×8) squares.  Post pictures when done.

Left work…

15 minutes off least bad time. Oh dear god. I got downtown 3 minutes after every reasonable bus had pulled out. For those counting at home that means I left work about 645, I’m still in downtown. It’s not Pietro day.

Boring…

I have no idea what game I want to play.  I need some darn stand-offs but that ain’t happening tonite, so I’m gaming instead.  Bored with minecraft, not feeling spelunky.   Barely logged into TSW, didn’t even manage that for GW.  Half-life is broken…

Proj Box – to ne continued

Decided to build a container for my arduino. Emptied out a nice curious box that I use for holding tie tacks and stuff. Marked drill holes by placing the board in and using a ball point. Fired up the drill and then remembered I have no idea what size of hole I need for the stand-offs. Two firsts: I have never needed stand-offs before. I have never lacked for them. Oh sure, I could rip apart my computer. Or I could rip apart my Sun. Or I could find more elsewhere. Option 3.
