I was in the room. This is the same room I have always been in and never thought of beyond it’s relationship the world outside the room. I believe there is a world outside, based on the images the voice shows me. I can’t prove this though, as I have never been not in the room. I’ve been taught the difference between many things that I’ll never experience. I understand the differences between hot and cold, fresh and stale, night and day. For me though, there is only awake and asleep.

Today’s a balmy 30°, so I won’t get to laquering today as that should be done outdoors. I think I’ll try the first round with five layers with wood glue, let it dry under pressure, and then lacquer. I’ll have to keep notes of the process used. As a plus, I did see where I tossed a pair of bads so I’ll be able to start my deconstruction soon.
LightBeer is still in the works, as is the gift, just need time ideally when I can open a window for ventilation.
Because I can never have enough projects, I saw that UE4(?) Is now straight free to use, just billable commission once your selling. I think Source 2 as well, but I’m not 100% on that info. Maybe it works be time to start prototyping one of my game ideas.

I remember Buddy Phil was working with cardboard laminates way back in my bad days. I’m considering cardboard as a construction material for the soles. Can I get away with just layering cardboard on top of itself, siding it in some form of waterproof resin, and applying pressure and time? Did Buddy Phil ever get good results? Hell, I don’t even remember why he brought over a 1’x1´x1″ piece that time. Dimensions might be off, but I remember it was hard as teeth. Not that teeth are hard, but it does sound cool.
Thinking of design now. I want a toe cap, but not steel toe. Steel toe’s have an unfortunate habit of rolling backwards when too much weight is dropped on them. My knowledge of history includes the clubbing of feet as a horrific punishment. So. Toe box. Have the soles be bolted on for easy swapping. Especially if I make them from cardboard. Boat shoe style. I like laces, maybe now like a fancy Converse. Leather looks good, but in the effort for sustainability, could I go heavy canvas instead? I’ll need someway to reinforce where the laces go. Do I want to think about adding light up options?
Next steps.
Mod my current shoes to extend there life.
Make cardboard and canvas shoes for testing.
Test at home for one week and then start testng around the neighborhood.
Once those tests are in, start going from there.

I should probably rip apart an old pair of shoes to look at the basic dimensions so I intelligently design. Totally teaching that controversy.

Soon(tm) my employer might be having more of a dress code than I have now. This is acting as a motivation to start drinking and making my own clothing. I need non-athletic shoes and black/blue slacks. Fallback of course is I just buy stuff, but, if I have to rock a wardrobe that has specs that aren’t my favorite, why not do it awesome.
Shoes. I wear skate sites primarily. They usually have a good sole, and arch support and a mellow style. Done in leather and they’re almost stealthed. By the way, my phone didn’t know the word stealthed; fixed. Now every time I kill another pair of shoes, I keep them. Shoes have been on my radar for a while now. I want a thicker sole. I want an interchangeable sole. And I want sites that don’t break out at the same place every pair of shoes I’ve ever had do. I’ll probably saw apart a pair later this week to see what I can see on the internals. That and start sourcing materials.
Trousers are both easier and harder. I have a pair that fits me fine, but they tore out. So first, seam rip those bad boys. Let’s get an idea of what I’m doing. Then, much like the shoes, all my clothes fail in the same way every time. I need to look for ways to mange them not fail there. Ankle slits and tapered hens should take care of half the problem. The crotch is a bit more difficult.

Art is done. Badly. But done.
Started transferring the circuit over to done perfboard. Soldered my fingers multiple times. Made a mess of everything. I need to find the shorts now. I lit the LED, but back to no blinking. Progress.

Found a video. Again. Built the circuit. Again. Went to wiki. Read the entire entry on wiki. Connected pin 5 though a capacitor to ground. Nothing. Connected pin 1 to ground. Blinks. Now to get it to a happy rate.

Still does not blink. It seems to be taunting me. I will try following along with a video soon.

Oaked Hooligan Stout – wanted a blood orange wheat beer, but they had killed that keg. This is thick like a stout, but has she great berry hints. I give it two burps.

Maritime Nightwatch – smooth crispy bite. I feel like I’m a cool member of the Night’s Watch. Not that pussy Jon Snow.
